Somerset Nursery and Garden Center (Somerset) in Glenmoore, PA reopened on April 15th, 2022 under new ownership and management.
Fisher & Son Company (FSC) of Exton, PA acquired Somerset in September 2021. FSC, a fifth generation family owned and operated business founded in 1928, wholesales turf and horticultural supplies for professional use. Somerset has undergone renovation to expand its offering to the public. A 2,200 square foot greenhouse has been added along with a renovation of the existing building to provide more retail space. Somerset will now stock a full line of tropical and house plants in addition to a more expansive inventory of outdoor plants including trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials, annuals, herbs and full line of vegetables. Gifts, pottery and a wide selection of garden accents are being sold in the new retail space.
FSC will bring its high level of customer care to Somerset and incorporate its culture of building and valuing its relationships with customers, employees and suppliers.
Somerset will be open year round selling seasonal items.
