Bagged Mulch

Some of our customers prefer the ease of bagged mulch. All of our bagged mulch is packaged in 2 cu ft bags for ease of loading and unloading from your vehicle.

When shopping at Somerset for your bagged mulch, we do your heavy lifting at the garden center. Just step up to our cashier booth to place your order, then drive through our loading zone, and one of our associates will load it in your car.

How Much Mulch Do I Need?

By measuring the area to be mulched (length x width = square feet), you can easily convert to the number of bags required to get the job done from the chart below.

It is recommended that mulch be applied at 3” inches high in order to reduce weed growth and maintain moister retention. However, if you wish to apply less, we’ve included 2" deep options as well.
